FUNCTIONS OF THE GENERAL SERVICES DIVISION
MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SECTION
1. Transport prisoner on diff. places on Metro Manila and nearby provinces for Court hearing, transport employees on diff. government offices on official business, transport diff. materials (T-shirt, beddings, mosquito nets and others) to North Harbor for colony destination.
2. Preserve limited number of food stuff (pork, beef, fish, and vegetables) at our walk-in type freezer at NBP and MSC Kitchen.
3. Provide electrical power at NBP and MSC perimeter fence during brown-out.
4. Provide assistance in case of fire.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SECTION
1. Maintain and supervise all secondary line facilities at NBP Reservation, minor electrical repair on different offices and dormitories.
2. Distribute water on diff. government quarters, offices, and dormitories on schedule basis.
3. Provide PLDT lines and local lines to have an easy access on our daily telephone communications including the maintenance.
CIVIL ENGINEERING SECTION
1. Minor construction repair on diff. offices and dormitories inside NBP Maximum Comp. and Administration Bldg.
2. Repair and maintenance of different piping installation.
3. Minor repair and maintenance of road.
4. Prepare plan, specification, program of work and detailed estimate for the proposed government projects.
5. Others that will be assigned by the Director of Bureau of Corrections.
GENERAL SERVICES SECTION
1. Provide water on diff. quarters and dormitories at Medium Security Camp.
2. Repair and maintenance of all secondary electrical facilities at Medium Security Camp.
3. Repair and maintenance of diff. offices and dormitories inside MSC.
4. Provide electrical supply during power interruption.
