BuCor's Virtual Private Network

      In keeping up with the latest trends and technology, the BuCor Web is the initial phase for the eventual implementation of the BuCor's Virtual Private Network (VPN), developed by our fully competent Web Development Team to better serve needs of the Bureau of Corrections.

      The ongoing development involves ten (10) phases under its IT projects for full automation through computerization which includes educating BuCor front line and support personnel in Computer Literacy to cope up with the agency's counterparts.

      The BuCor Web is currently undergoing substantial development, from the initial static information site to a more dynamic site. Basic information are being made available from time to time to better serve the public. BuCor Web shall offer a wealth of information, allowing the viewers to better understand what the Bureau of Corrections is all about. The navigation is kept simple enough for beginners to surf with ease.

      Through the BuCor Web, eventually with link all its operating prisons and penal farms into a seamless Virtual Private Network, allowing the exchange of information easier with the availability of bandwidth and internet connections from remote sites. Currently, there are a lot of IT projects being developed to align with the main project - Virtual Private Network.
