MORAL AND SPIRITUAL PROGRAMS

Inmates enjoy freedom of religion. All inmates are free to observe the rituals of their faith, with orderly conduct supervised by prison authorities. The chaplaincy service caters to the religious needs of inmates and personnel. Each of the prisons and sub-colonies has one organic chaplain and a church to undertake various religious worships and formations.

Religious Volunteer Officers, or RVOs belonging to different church groups and denominations provide regular religious activities ranging from bible studies, devotions, prayer meetings, baptism, mass or praise and worship.
